Hey All, I have been installing the Cominolli safety for some time now. The safety is a manually engaged safety lever that helps prevent unintentional discharges. It actually blocks the trigger movement allowing the slide to be cycled and the pistol loaded or unloaded with the safety on. It does all that without effecting any of the integrated Glock safeties’. One thing to keep in mind though, the safety requires a small cut in the frame, once installed you can remove the safety if you want but the cutout will always be there.
I normally average three to four safeties a year but for some reason I have done 12 installs in the last three months alone. I have added some photos of installs on a Glock 23 and a Glock 27 below. If you decide to go with one of the Cominolli safeties I would definitely recommend you have a qualified Gunsmith do the install. Even if you purchase the jig you can still hack your frame up pretty easy.
